Karst house

Unique landscape of the Slovene Istria is known for hills, old villages, vineyards and olive plantations and peculiar cultural tradition. The trip includes a visit to an old Istrian village and a littoral town Isola.

Istrian villages are famous for their architecture of characteristic stone houses and yards and unique atmosphere. You will learn about the history and heritage of Istria at the village museum Tona’s house. After lunch, a trip to Isola follows. It is a fishing town, also known for its marine. It is built on an island and used to be connected to the mainland by a stone bridge, but was later attached to the mainland.
