The main Ljubljana access roads are named after the cities and places that they lead to: Tržaška (Trieste Road), Celovška (Klagenfurt Road), Dunajska (Vienna Road) and Dolenjska. All of them will bring you straight into the city centre, where you can leave your car in one of the open-air or multi-storey car parks and continue by bus.

You will have little problem finding a taxi in the city centre. However, Ljubljana is best explored on foot or by bicycle. In the summer months the city can be seen from another perspective by jumping aboard the tourist boat that cruises up and down the Ljubljanica river.

Parking spaces are marked with a white line. The parking fee is paid with the parking tickets (available in the city centre).

Parking time in the inner city centre is restricted to one hour only.
